This site was initially a chronicle of my wife’s pregnancy. I documented the baby’s progress through this site.

Unfortunately, at 8 weeks gestation, between the 11th and 12th of October the baby lost her heartbeat. We lost her.

And so now, this blog is a dedication to our short-lived little daughter we named Sandra, who is now an angel guiding us in our daily lives.

When I saw this little girl’s picture some years back, I said to my self that this is going to be my daughter’s face. And so whoever owns this picture, I hope you don’t mind me borrowing this, just to give my unborn baby a face to look to

To Sandra, thank you for sharing your life with us, even for a short time. When we found out about you on the 15th of September 2014 until the day we found out you’ve left us on the 12th of October -28 days!- you gave us enormous joy. We will never forget those feelings and we will treasure your memory always.

We know that it is God’s plan that you not continue your life with us. We humbly respect that, and we never lose that faith. We may never know the reason for your leaving so soon but all we know is that you are now in God’s loving arms, where you are more safe and secured. When you look down on us from the Heavens, know that our love will keep us bonded in spirit.
